Ella Zhang is an Investor Manager in the Private Capital team at Invest New Zealand, where she works with high-value global investors through the Active Investor Plus (AIP) programme. She helps investors navigate New Zealand’s investment landscape by connecting them with venture capital and private equity firms, innovative companies, and other key stakeholders.

Her career spans senior roles across both the public and private sectors. She led destination promotion across Asia Pacific at Destination Queenstown before moving into regional economic development at Great South in Southland. Most recently, she led external engagement at the University of Auckland Business School, building partnerships with the business community and philanthropic partners to support research, and innovation.

Glenn Lio

Glenn Lio is the Executive Director of the Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan (ANZCham), where he is responsible for the Chamber’s strategic development, business advocacy, and community outreach. In this role, he supports Australian and New Zealand businesses in Taiwan, working closely with business leaders, government agencies, and industry partners to strengthen business relations, facilitate commercial opportunities, and engage on policy issues affecting trade and investment between the three markets.

Glenn has over ten years of international experience across Taiwan, the United States, China, Oceania, and Scandinavia, leading initiatives in business advocacy, public diplomacy, and cross-sector collaboration. Prior to joining ANZCham, he worked at Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology, promoting international cooperation in science, technology, and innovation.

Prior to MA Financial Group, he spent 3 years in the United Kingdom in Directorship and COO roles with a family office and New Zealand specialist services firm. Kiron has also worked as a corporate and investor manager for New Zealand's largest Immigration Advisory firm and has a wealth of experience with New Zealand residence through investment visa programs, including the current Active Investor Plus Visa.
